ATCCI is represented by Ashley Hayertz at the 36th Annual Conference on U.S.-Turkey Relations

The 36th Annual Conference on U.S.-Turkey Relations, (#USTurkeyConf) organized by the American-Turkish Council (ATC) and the Turkey-U.S. Business Council (TAIK), convened more than 500 leaders and visionaries in the private sector, government, and the non-profit space to empower business through partnerships. From May 21 until May 23, 2017 in Washington DC, more than 20 industries were in attendance, represented by CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors, members of the U.S. Congress and Turkish Parliament, and other ministers and cabinet secretaries.

In this important conference, ATCCI was represented by our board member, Ms. Ashley Hayertz.

Global retail e-commerce sales reached $1.915 trillion in 2016, and it is expected this will rise to $4.058 trillion by 2020. Retailers in the U.S. and Turkey are taking note of this trend and are expanding omni-channel sales and marketing efforts to accommodate the growth of tablets and smartphones. E-commerce offers access to a global pool of customers and consumers who are increasingly shopping online. This panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities of e-commerce and offer ways for businesses to capitalize on this trend.
